Externally Funded Projects

JProf. Dr. Svenja Hippel leads subprojects in the following research projects:

SOZIAHR: Investigation of the flood disaster in the Ahr Valley on July 14, 2021, and development of empirically grounded recommendations for action.

AI in Civil Procedure: As a topic of the future, artificial intelligence will also find its way into civil procedure. What opportunities and risks arise from machine-based decision-making?
(Funded by the German Research Foundation)

Incognito Justice: In Germany, court rulings are published only in part and in anonymized form. This EU-wide study examines the potential (undesirable) effects of anonymization.
