Course details

The course gives an overview of all substantial areas of German law (civil law, criminal law, public law) in consideration of European integration and the EMRK. Beyond that, certain current topics or topics of student´s interest will be examined in depth. The aim is to convey content and also to promote an understanding of the technical foreign language in German. In addition to that, legal vocabulary will be explained and students will be encouraged to participate actively. The course is primarily aimed at international students but is also open to all students, who do not speak German as a native language.
