Research Assistant

Ass jur Felicitas Eva Gellrich, born 1989 in Lyon (France), joined the Institute for Public International Law as a research assistant in March 2024. She studied law at the Universities of Constance and Bonn. During her studies she focused on International, European and Constitutional Law. After graduating with the first legal State Examination in March 2016, she worked as a research assistant with Prof Dr Dietlein at the University of Düsseldorf. Afterwards, she completed her practical legal training at the Regional Court in Düsseldorf with a stage at the legal Unit of the Directorate-General for Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (MARE) of the European Commission in Brussels. She completed her second State Examination in February 2022. She then worked as a research assistant with Prof. Dr. Reiling at the Universities of Bonn and Bremen. Felicitas is currently working on her dissertation on the Law of the Sea.
