'German Practice in International Law’ presents recent German State practice in international law to an international audience.

Experts in international law are invited on a monthly basis to present their work. The lectures are open to everyone.
Library of the Institute for PIL
The library of the Institute comprises the book collections of both the Institute for Public International Law and the Institute of Public Law (Comparative Law Section). In addition to an extensive collection of journals, you will find standard works, textbooks, collections of statutes and commentaries relating to the research and teaching priorities of both institutes.

Research
Professor Talmon’s research covers a wide range of topics. In addition, the institute’s staff conduct research across a broad spectrum of issues in public international law. The GPIL project unites the work of students, assistants, and Professor Talmon himself.
