Jian Lin, LL.M.

Jian Lin, born on 28 December 1992, in China, studied law at the China University of Political Science and Law, China, and finished her studies with a Bachelor. During this period, she was a visiting student at the Sun Yat-Sen University, China. She participated in the Model United Nations hosted by the Beijing Forestry University, and passed the China’s National Judicial Examination. She holds a Master of Laws from the Guangxi University, China. She was also a visiting student at the Curtin University, Australia. Lin is a PhD candidate in International Law at the Law School of the University of International Business and Economics, China. Her thesis focuses on investment facilitation in international investment law.

Lin published articles in the Journal of WTO and China, the Journal of International Economic Law (Peking University Press), the Graduate Law Review CUPL, among others. She was awarded the Youth Excellent Paper at the China International Investment Arbitration Forum. She was also an author at the Chinese Initiative on International Law (NGO). She is a researcher at the Center of International Economic Law & Policy and the student managing editor of UIBE Legal Science.
