Philosophy of Law Library
The Philosophy of Law Library of the Law Department can be found within the office of Prof. Dr. Laura Münkler's chair, at Lennéstr. 37. It is refrence library, thus loans are only allowed as an exception.
The opening hours are Mon - Fri 9:30a - 12:30p. At request, the opening hours can usually be extended.
The signature "Ld" (Criminal Law) has been removed from the library. You can find these books at the Chair of Prof. Dr. Luna Rösinger - Festschriften are at the Chair of Prof. Dr. Wagner.
The collection of the library contains a broad spectrum of works. Among them are legal philosophy monographs, edited volumes, overview works, collected works of distinguished authors, thematic collections as well as legal sociology.
The entire collection can be found at Bonnus.
This is a refrence library, therefore loans are usually not permitted. Professors and research assistants are allowed to borrow books for 2 weeks at a time. Loans can usually be made available even outside office hours.
Journals, Handbooks and periodicals
The signature La contains periodic works.
The journals are continously updated.
Overall displays and single authors
The signature Lb contains displays of entire topics within philosophy of law, as well as primary and secondary literature of distinguished authors
Thematic Displays
The Signature Lc contains topical displays - ranging from natural law and Epistemology, to Philosophy of Language.
(Legal-) Sociology
The signature Le contains various types of sociology and legal sociology works.
Special attention is paid to the works of Max Weber.
Work Space
The Seminar provides several workstations with power outlets. Scanning facilities are not available.

You have access to digital resources and online research tools via the university network. Simply connect to the university Wi-Fi.
Use and Accessability
Our library is located at Lennéstr. 37 on the ground floor. Unfortunately, wheelchair access is not possible. In this case, please contact the staff of the department to arrange access.

Regulations
