Prof. Dr. Daniel Zimmer and JProf. Dr. Jan-Frederick Göhsl have published an article titled “Enforcement of the Digital Markets Act” on the Verfassungsblog.
The article „Sie Verhinderer!“ „Sie Ignorant!“ published in the business magazine "brand eins" explores the question of whether law and economics are at odds with one another. The Law and Economics program at the University of Bonn is cited as an example of the potential academic convergence of these two fields. In this context, the founder and executive director of the Center for Advanced Studies in Law and Economics, Prof. Dr. Daniel Zimmer, states, among other things, that “One [...] should not wait until [...] specialization in a master’s program to inject a strong dose of economics into law. By then, people are already misinformed and corrupted by economic thinking.” (translated; original: „Man [...] mit der Injektion einer kräftigen Dosis Ökonomie ins Recht nicht erst [...] bis zur Spezialisierung im Masterstudium [warten darf]. Bis dahin sind die Leute schon verbildet und für das ökonomische Denken verdorben.“)
