As part of the International Environmental Law course given by Dr Maria Gwynn, law and Erasmus students of the University of Bonn joined the visit to the regional office for Europe of the International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN). On the occasion, Senior Legal Officer of IUCN, Mr Diego Jara, gave a presentation about IUCN’s work and the way in which States rely on important environmental treaties to cooperate and overcome challenging environmental issues and protect their natural resources.
