Fine Prill LL.M. (Amsterdam)
Research Assistant
Fine Prill (née Hartmann) joined the Institute for International Law in December 2023. She holds two LL.B. (Hons.) degrees from University College London and the University of Cologne. She also holds an LL.M. in “Law and Politics of International Security” from VU Amsterdam. She gained her first work experience in the areas of multilateral diplomacy, international affairs, and the development of the rule of law while working in Vienna, Brussels, and Colombia.
Fine is fascinated by the interaction between law and other disciplines, such as history and political science, with a particular focus on international security. She is currently conducting research on the effects of military coercion and its impact on the validity of treaties.
