Jessica Dietrich started supporting the Institute of International Law as its librarian in March 2026.
She completed her training as a media and information services assistant specialising in library sciences at the Art and Exhibition Hall of the Federal Republic of Germany, and subsequently studied library science at Cologne University of Applied Sciences. During this time, she undertook various internships, including one at the library of Goldsmiths, University of London. That was followed by positions in the libraries of a law firm and two Max Planck Institutes. She also worked on a project at the German Institute for Adult Education.
