Institute for Tax Law

Institute for tax law

Founded in 1954 the Institute for Tax Law at the University of Bonn stands for tax law research in close connection with civil and corporate law. Through a broad and practice-oriented range of courses, we provide students with in-depth insights into the world of tax law, accounting law and corporate law. Our courses are designed for the specialization program within the studies for the German state examination.

The library collection focuses on tax law, accounting law and corporate law and takes into account relevant connections to European and international law. In recent years the profile has been expanded specifically to include literature on foundation and non-profit law. For research beyond tax law the library of the Institute for Commercial and Business Law is located in close proximity.
