Besides Studying
Study Abroad
The University of Bonn offers study abroad opportunities at approximately 300 partner universities in Europe through the EU’s Erasmus+ program. Further information on the Erasmus+ program can be found here.
Specific details regarding studying abroad as part of the Law program can be found here.
If you are interested in studying abroad in the Department of Economics, you can find more detailed information here.
Exams taken abroad that are to be credited later toward a specialization within the law program in Bonn must be officially registered with the Law Examination Office before they are taken. This is required regardless of whether the student is already enrolled in the law program in Bonn at the time of taking the exam abroad or only intends to transfer to the State Examination Law Program in Bonn at a later date.
ECONtribute-LawEcon-Workshop
As an optional activity, students have the opportunity to participate in the Law and Economics workshops. These workshops may also count toward the required research colloquium in the Law and Economics elective track.
The workshops take place on Wednesdays following a prior announcement. Please feel free to sign up for the email list to stay informed about upcoming workshops. To do so, please send an email to sympa@listen.uni-bonn.de with the subject line “subscribe lawecon First Name, Last Name”.
Become a LawEcon mentor!
The mentors are upper-level law and economics students and alumni who support other students in the program by sharing their experiences, tips, and advice.
They also help foster networking among students by organizing events for first-year students and other law and economics events, such as the summer barbecue.
University Sports Programs
For recreational activities to balance your studies, we’d like to point you toward the university’s sports programs.
Other university life activities
