Prof. Franck Roumy and Prof. Schmoeckel are inviting doctoral students in legal history to spend time in Paris or Bonn.

Starting this year, the French-German University is supporting joint doctoral training for legal historians at Paris II and Bonn.

To this end, there will be short, three-day conferences with four doctoral students each, who will present on their research topics in their own language.

In addition to funding for the conference, we have received funds to facilitate a short stay in the other country: weeks, one or two months, or longer. A few weeks can be easily funded; for longer-term stays, the funding source must still be consulted.

The funding is not full coverage but helps with travel and accommodation costs.

Doctoral students in legal history from other universities and other countries may also participate in this program.
