International

The University of Bonn attaches particular importance on the international focus of its degree programs. The aim is to prepare students for an increasingly global job market and to offer courses primarily in English, but also in other languages, in order to promote a high level of language proficiency.

The international orientation of the law degree is evident in the support provided for study abroad, particularly through the Erasmus program, a large number of international students, and the opportunity to participate in a wide range of foreign-language events.

The International Coordination Office is responsible for all general questions regarding study abroad for students in the Department of Law as well as exchange students. The International Affairs/German as Foreign Language team is responsible, among other things, for offerings for visiting scholars from abroad at the department, such as the § JurAnnouncement newsletter, the § JurLecture lecture series, or the § JurGuide podcast.
