Centre for the Law of Life Sciences

The Centre for the Law of Life Sciences is an interdisciplinary research center at the Institute for Public Law of the University of Bonn, affiliated with the chair held by Prof. Dr. DDr. h.c. Bioethics requires interdisciplinary dialogue

The rapid and steady advances in the fields of modern life sciences raise ethical, legal, and social questions. One of the tasks of innovation-oriented research is to address these questions and to inform and support the broader societal discourse through a legal and regulatory perspective. The institute addresses this normative challenge through scientifically grounded research as well as activities that provide practical and policy advice.
