Special offers for school pupils and prospective students

The ‘Fördern, Fordern, Forschen’ (FFF) programme is an early-entry scheme for school pupils aimed at those of you who already have an idea of which subject you might like to study after leaving school.

As part of FFF, you can already attend introductory lectures and even sit the final exams. If you do decide to study the subject after your A-levels, you can have the modules you have already passed during FFF credited towards your degree.

You must apply in good time to take part. At the end, we organise a graduation ceremony where you will receive your certificates.

You can find more detailed information about the programme, the requirements and the application process at: www.fff.uni-bonn.de

If you are admitted to the FFF programme, you may attend all lectures. The courses in the first semester are particularly recommended. You can find the course offerings for the first semester of the 2025/26 winter term in the  current timetable.

Further organisational information about studying law in Bonn can be found here.

Spend a day immersing yourself in the world of law studies!

As a group of 10 to 20 pupils, you can spend a whole day experiencing the daily life of a law student for yourselves and get a feel for what to expect from a law degree. Where possible, the day always includes a visit to a court hearing and a taster lecture.

‘I never really found law particularly appealing, but after today, I can’t stop thinking about the course and, above all, the university. I think I’ve found what I want to do later on.’
(Gina Götz, school pupil)

Other students who attended our workshops reported:

‘Great stuff! Lots of general information about studying law and tasks that might come up later in professional life.’

‘I really enjoyed the in-depth session, as it showed me that law is very interesting and multifaceted. It’s definitely a field I’ll continue to explore.’

Are you interested? Then please get in touch with us by email!

You are welcome to attend any law lecture at our department at any time without prior registration, to get a taste of the subject matter in advance.

Lectures attended by first-year students are particularly suitable for this purpose. You can find an overview of the courses, including their venues and times, in this timetable. You can find out what topics the individual lectures cover in our lecture descriptions.

The lecture period for the upcoming 2025/26 winter semester begins on 13 October 2025 and ends on 6 February 2026 for all year groups.

If you wish to attend a seminar where cases are analysed and discussed, you must register in advance by email via the Law Student Advisory Service.

You are welcome to book an appointment with us for academic advising either before or after attending a lecture. Please feel free to email to arrange this.
