After studying law in Mainz, Sabine Beck completed her legal training at the Regional Court of Koblenz and the Federal Ministry of Economics, amongst other places. Her professional goal: to contribute her legal expertise to institutions closely linked to higher education. To this end, she initially worked at the German Student Union (Deutsches Studentenwerk e.V.) and subsequently at Remagen University of Applied Sciences, before Sabine Beck took over as Head of the Law Student Advisory Service at the University of Bonn 15 years ago.

Since then, she has consistently demonstrated a student-centred approach and shown leadership on all matters and concerns relating to students in the department. Outside of work, she enjoys reading gripping thrillers (recommendation: ‘Mit kalter Präzision’ by M. Tsokos), plenty of outdoor sports and spending time with her dog Toni.
