Sahar Mell (Ass. jur.)

Ass. jur.  Sahar Mell completed her secondary education in 2000 at the Helmholtz-Gymnasium in Frankfurt am Main. During the 1996-1997 academic year, she participated in an international educational program at the Richland High School in Washington, D.C., United States. Following her high school graduation and prior to commencing her legal studies, she engaged in a practical training program at the Red Cross in Toronto, Canada. During her tenure as a student at the Goethe-Universität Frankfurt am Main, she engaged in academic research while concurrently employed as a student assistant at Baker McKenzie.

Subsequent to her tenure as a legal intern at the Landgericht Darmstadt, she assumed the role of administrative professional at the Bundesagentur für Arbeit (BA). Thereafter, she engaged in a three-year period of parental leave, which she spent in France. Subsequently, she was employed at the Bußgeld- und Strafsachenstelle of the Familienkasse Rheinland-Pfalz-Saarland, where she was responsible for the investigation of tax evasion cases.

In the beginning of February 2023, she got appointed as the manageress of the ZMDT. In this capacity, she has assumed leadership responsibilities for multiple projects. Her duties include the coordination of research activities, the planning and execution of events, and the management of external funding.
