Talha Evran, LL.B. (Köln/Istanbul Altınbaş)

Talha Evran (born 1997) studied law at the University of Cologne and Istanbul Altınbaş University. After completing the binational German-Turkish law program (Cologne/Istanbul Altınbaş) in 2020, he passed his first compulsory state examination at the Higher Regional Court of Cologne in the spring of 2023. His main area of focus was corporate law. During his studies, Talha Evran received funding from the German National Academic Foundation. Talha Evran was initially employed as a student assistant and later as a research assistant at the Chair of Civil Law, Commercial and Corporate Law, Labor Law, and European Private Law Development of Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Dauner-Lieb at the University of Cologne.

Since March 2024, he has been working as a research assistant at the Chair of Civil Law, Data Economy Law, Data Protection and Artificial Intelligence and is currently pursuing a doctorate on a civil law topic as a doctoral scholarship holder of the German National Academic Foundation. Talha Evran is editor-in-chief of the journal “Artificial Intelligence and Law,” which is published monthly by C.H.Beck.
