Academic CV
From 2014 to 2020, Dr. Ansgar Kalle studied law at the University of Bonn. During his undergraduate studies, he worked as a student assistant at the Chair of Prof. Dr. Stefan Greiner from 2016 to 2020. Concurrently, from 2019 to 2020, he worked as a research associate at the law firm Flick Gocke Schaumburg, where he assisted Dr Christian Brünkmans, LL.M., in the fields of insolvency law and corporate law.
In 2020, he passed the First State Examination in Law before the Judicial Examination Office of the Higher Regional Court of Cologne. The University of Bonn honoured him with the examination prize as top of his graduating class. From 2020 to 2023, he was employed as a research associate at the Institute for Labour and Social Security Law under Prof. Dr. Stefan Greiner. During this period, he wrote his doctoral thesis entitled "Das Rechtsmissbrauchsverbot im Spiegel der Rechtsprechung zum Arbeits- und Gesellschaftsrecht" (The Prohibition of Abuse of Rights as Reflected in Case Law on Labour and Corporate Law).
From 2023 to 2025, he completed his legal clerkship (Vorbereitungsdienst) in the district of the Higher Regional Court of Cologne, with placement stations including a chamber for private construction law, the Federal Cartel Office (Bundeskartellamt), and Flick Gocke Schaumburg. He subsequently returned to the university to begin his Habilitation project, which is situated at the intersection of civil law, labour law, and corporate law.
