Sven-Jürgen Tietz

Sven-Jürgen Tietz studied law at the University of Bonn from October 2015 to September 2022. In March 2021, he passed the state portion of the First State Examination in Law before the Judicial Examination Office at the Higher Regional Court of Cologne, subsequently completing Specialisation Area I (Legal Profession, Notariat, and Civil Justice Administration).

He subsequently studied archaeology and philosophy at the University of Bonn from October 2022 to March 2023.

In April 2023, he began his legal clerkship (Referendariat) at the Regional Court of Bonn. Following training placements at the Regional Court of Bonn, the Public Prosecutor's Office of Bonn, the Federal Office of Justice (Unit II 2, Federal Central Authority for Intercountry Adoption), and the law firms Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek (Cologne) and Redeker Sellner Dahs (Bonn), he passed his Second State Examination in Law before the State Judicial Examination Office of North Rhine-Westphalia in Düsseldorf in April 2025.

Since December 2023, he has been a Research Associate at the Institute for Labour and Social Security Law (Chair of Prof. Dr Stefan Greiner), where he is pursuing doctoral research on a topic at the intersection of labour law and the law of obligations.
