  A newly approved Research Training Group funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG), starting at the end of 2026, with four historians from Bonn involved.

• Atelier Doctoral Paris – Bonn: A collaborative platform between the Graduate Schools for Lawyers of the University Paris II and the Rechts- und Staatswissenschaftliche Fakultät in Bonn, designed for young PhD researchers in the field of legal history. It organises regular annual workshops and offers opportunities for individual mobility for doctoral researchers wishing to study abroad or improve their language skills, involving Prof. Franck Roumy and Prof. Guillaume Boudou. • Erasmus+: Several Erasmus+ professors visit Bonn each autumn. Their courses can be attended as part of the class "Comparative European Legal History," which also offers the possibility of sitting an examination within the "Schwerpunkt Grundlagen."
