Martin Höne, LL.M. (Stockholm)

Martin Höne (born 1999) began studying law at the University of Bonn after graduating from high school in Warendorf. During his studies, he completed internships at the law firm Flick Gocke Schaumburg in Bonn and the district government in Münster. After spending time abroad at the University of Florence, he returned to Bonn, where he passed the state part of the first state law examination before the Higher Regional Court of Cologne in November 2022 and subsequently completed the university part of the state examination with a focus on economics, competition, and data law. From March to August 2023, he also worked as a research assistant in the IP/IT department at DLA Piper in Cologne.

In addition to his work as a lecturer, he completed a Master of Laws (LL.M.) at Stockholm University from August 2023 to June 2024, focusing on European intellectual property law.

Since February 2021, he has been part of the team at the Chair of Civil Law, Data Economy Law, Data Protection, Digitalization, and Artificial Intelligence of Prof. Dr. Specht-Riemenschneider, initially as a student assistant and, since August 2023, as a research assistant. Since October 2024 and the completion of his master's degree in Stockholm, he has been working on a doctorate on a data law topic.

Martin Höne is also a founding member and board member of the Research Center for Legal Issues of New Technologies and Data Law (ForTech).
