The Institute for German and Rhenish Legal History manages the archive of the Faculty of Law and Political Science at the University of Bonn. It contains the documents listed in the Findbuch. In addition, the Dean's Office of the Faculty keeps personnel files, habilitation files, doctoral files and the minutes of Faculty meetings.

• Personal files, habilitation files, doctoral files and the minutes of faculty meetings are kept in the Faculty's Dean's Office and must be requested there.
