Linda Lange graduated from Pädagogium Otto-Kühne-Schule Bad Godesberg in 2018 and currently studies law in her seventh semester at the University of Bonn. She spent the previous academic year in the United Kingdom, studying for a Diploma in Legal Studies at the University of Oxford. There she gained deep insight into the field of public international law and international criminal law and discovered her great interest in this extensive and important field of law. Besides her studies, she has been working as a student assistant at Professor Herdegen’s chair for Public, European and International Law since June 2021. Linda is very much looking forward to enhancing her knowledge in international criminal law, working together with equally motivated and interested teammates, and acquiring practical legal experience during the 2022 ICC Moot Court.
Celina Farinha is 21 years old and currently studying law in her fourth semester. She graduated from Gymnasium Ohmoor Hamburg in 2019 and spent 7 months in France as an Au-Pair, before enrolling in law at the University of Bonn in April 2020. She passed her intermediate exam after two semesters and works as a student assistant for Professor Stuckenberg. In her free time, she voluntarily works as a tutoress in French and English. Already during school, she further developed her language skills, while living in Australia for 10 months and in France for 3 months. This led to her being interested in foreign legal systems, which is why she participates in the FFA Program. During her studies she also developed a particular interest in criminal and public law. Therefore, she is looking forward to learning more about international criminal law, developing her legal English skills and learning how to plead.
Helena Wolters was interested in law ever since she did her first internships at a law firm and at court during High School. Through a six-month school exchange in Canada and work and travel through New Zealand and Central America she gained international experience and a growing interest for different cultures. Meanwhile she studies law in her fifth semester at the University of Bonn. She finished the intermediate exams and did an internship at Borris Hennecke Kneisel, a law firm that is specialized in international arbitration. This increased her knowledge and interest in international law. Now she looks forward to learning more about the practical side of international criminal law and working in a team.
Lara Fischer graduated from Anno-Gymnasium Siegburg in 2019 and is currently studying law in her fifth semester at the University of Bonn. During her year abroad at Willow Glen Highschool in San Jose, California, she acquired multicultural experiences and international competences. She has already passed the intermediate exam and taken complementary courses at the university such as “International Legal English” and “Introduction to the Anglo-American Law”. As an undergraduate assistant, she gained first practical legal experience in a law firm. After her internship at a federal office in Bonn in 2021, she started to work there. She is looking forward to gaining deeper knowledge in the field of international criminal law during the Moot Court Competition, while working with her teammates.
Marvin Cremer is 21 years old and studies law in his seventh semester. He graduated from Städtisches Gymnasium Eschweiler in 2018, where he has been student speaker for two years. Working for the Student Council for three years, he gained valuable experience of working in a team. His legal studies are supported by a scholarship from the German Academic Scholarship Foundation. He finished his intermediate exam after the second semester and is now specializing in Public Law. Besides, he has participated in the FFA program for three semesters, in which he improved his English and his teamwork skills. In addition, he discovered his interest for International Law and Moot Courts. Since October 2021 he is working as a student assistant for the Institute of Public Law of Professor Di Fabio. Marvin is looking forward to learn more about International Criminal Law, gaining practical insights and working in a team that shares his interests.
