Barbara Maria Hasenau
Barbara Maria Hasenau has been working as a research associate for Prof. Dr. Dr. Spranger at the Chair of Public Law at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn since October 2022. She is doing her doctorate on the subject of animal welfare as part of the externally funded project "AniMotion" and is also involved in the research work on the externally funded project "PRACC".
Prior to this, she successfully completed her law degree at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn and worked as a student assistant at the University of Bonn's law department during this time.
In her research, Barbara Maria Hasenau primarily deals with current issues in the field of animal and climate protection law. She focuses in particular on the link between these two subject areas and the interface between animal and climate protection and food law.
