Benedikt Fischer

After graduating from high school in Dormagen, Benedikt Fischer (born 1996) studied law at the university of Bonn. As a specialiazation area he chose Economy and Competition with a focus on corporate and capital market law. In February 2022, he completed his first legal examination.

At university he worked as a student assistant for the specialized foreign language training for lawyers in English (Bonner-FFA für Juristinnen und Juristen) and completed internships at Streck Mack Schwedhelm in Cologne, among others. While finishing his specialized studies, he also worked as a research assistant in the Corporate/M&A department at Oppenhoff in Cologne from August 2021 to August 2022.

Since July 1, 2022, he has worked as a research assistant at the Chair of Civil Law, Commercial, Corporate, and Civil Procedure Law under Prof. Dr. Alexander Scheuch. His doctoral project focuses on the chairman of the shareholder meeting and voting bans in the German limited liability company (GmbH). He was selected as a participant in the Program in European Private Law for Postgraduates (PEPP) at the universities of Münster, Leuven, Zagreb, and Genoa for the winter semester 2022/23.

In the summer semester 2025, Mr. Fischer teaches a study group for the lecture “Introduction to Civil Law and General Part of Civil Law” (BGB AT).
