Doctorate at the department

Application for a doctorate at the department is possible at any time. In principle, this requires either the completion of the first or second state examination with an extraordinary evaluation or the particularly successful participation in the study "Master Deutsches Recht (LL.M.)". Furthermore, scientific interest should be documented by a relevant seminar paper also with an outstanding evaluation, relevant professional experience or other achievements. Possible topics are employment and social law as well as civil law. A close connection to the department is desirable to ensure optimal supervision and the successful completion of the doctoral project; for this, various forms of individual agreement have proven to be useful. If you are interested, please contact the office with a short application (in writing or by e-mail) and enclose your curriculum vitae, copies of certificates, proposed topics and, if applicable, a project outline.

Proposals for topics from social law are particularly welcome. Such projects may receive special funding.
