The Jessup Team 2013

Tanja Dölle graduated from Gymnasium Kreuzgasse in Cologne in 2008. Afterwards she spent one year in Australia and New Zealand where she worked as an Au-Pair and as a divemaster. She started to study law at the University of Bonn in October 2009 and has been working as a student assistant to Professor Dr. Herdegen at the chair of public law since 2010. Last year Tanja spent two semesters in England as an Erasmus student and now wants to specialise in international law. In her spare time she enjoys reading, diving and travelling.

Ioannis Georgiadis started studying law at the University of Bonn in 2009. He currently works as a student assistant at the chair of Professor Dr. Matthias Herdegen, the co-director of the Institute for Public International Law. Ioannis has already gained experience representing states in international competitions through his participation in both the Bonn International Model United Nations (BIMUN) conference and at the National Model United Nations (NMUN) conference, during which he won awards for best delegate and outstanding position paper (respectively). He is a member of the editorial board of the Bonner Rechtsjournal, the student law review of the University of Bonn. In his spare time, Ioannis enjoys keeping up with current affairs, learning foreign languages and playing sports. For Ioannis participating in the Jessup is a way to apply his acquired knowledge in the field of public international law and to meet other highly motivated students.

Juliane Schulten is a law student at the University of Bonn and is in her last year. She started to study law in October 2007 and interrupted her studies to spend one year as a volunteer in Kenya. She has always been interested in public international law and just completed her specialization in the field of International and European Economic Law (SPB 8). Juliane thinks that participating in the Jessup Moot Court competition is a great opportunity to gain experience in public speaking and legal writing in English since her coursework so far has been exclusively in German. In her spare time she enjoys reading, sports and playing the violin in the Hofgartenorchester Bonn. She hopes to later work for an international organization.

Kathrin Wiesche enrolled to study law in Bonn in October 2010 and passed her intermediate exam after the second semester. Having made a short detour into Roman law, Kathrin currently works at the chair of Professor Talmon. Through her participation in the FFA program, she has already trained her English law vocabulary and her public speaking skills. As a member of the Jessup team, Kathrin is eager to enhance her knowledge of public international law.
