Marvin Cremer ist seit Dezember 2025 als wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter am Institut für Völkerrecht tätig. Zuvor arbeitete er als studentische Hilfskraft am Institut für Staatsrecht an den Lehrstühlen von Prof. Dr. Dr. Udo Di Fabio sowie anschließend von Prof. Dr. Shu-Perng Hwang LL.M. (Columbia). Sein von der Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes gefördertes rechtswissenschaftliches Studium mit dem Schwerpunkt „Staat und Verfassung im Prozess der Internationalisierung“ schloss er im Mai 2025 mit der ersten juristischen Prüfung ab. Zudem nahm er im Jahr 2021/22 am ICC Moot Court im Völkerstrafrecht teil. Neben seinem Promotionsvorhaben studiert er derzeit im Zweitstudium Politikwissenschaften sowie Philosophie.

Marvin Cremer joined the Institute for International Law as a research assistant in December 2025. Previously, he worked as a student assistant at the Institute for Constitutional Law in the departments of Prof. Dr. Dr. Udo Di Fabio and subsequently Prof. Dr. Shu-Perng Hwang LL.M. (Columbia). He completed his law studies, which focused on “State and Constitution in the Process of Internationalisation” and were funded by the German National Academic Foundation, in May 2025 by passing the First Legal State Examination. In 2021/22 he also participated in the ICC Moot Court in international criminal law. He is currently pursuing a PhD in law and, in parallel, a second degree in political science and philosophy.
