The following foreign guest researchers are currently conducting research at the Department of Law:


Mrs. Alessia Carrera

Turin, will be spending a research stay at the Institute of Roman Law.

Mrs. Huyen Doan

Vietnam, is spending a three-and-a-half-year research stay at the chair of Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Herdegen since november 2022.

Mrs. Lucía Solavagione

Argentina, is spending a research stay financed by the DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service), for the preparation of a doctoral thesis under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. mult. Kindhäuser, Institute of Criminal Law.

Mrs. Xue Bai

China, will be spending a research stay at the Institute of Roman Law.

Argentina, is spending a research stay at the Institute for Public International Law.

Asunción, Paraguay, is spending a research stay at the chair of Prof. Dr. Martin Böse as part of a doctorate.

Mr. Prof. Dr. Juan Pablo Mañalich

Chile, will be spending a research stay at the Institute of Criminal Law starting from November to advance a research project on the doctrine of attempted crime.

Hokkaido University Japan, will be spending a research stay at the Chair of Civil Law and Insolvency Law under the guidance of Professor Dr. Brinkmann.

Belgium, holder of a visiting professorship at the Institute for German and Rhenish Legal History.
