Grants of the Erasmus+ programme

The Erasmus+ programme includes

  • Studying abroad at a European partner university for a stay of 3 to 12 months
  •  Exemption from tuition fees at the host university
  • Support from the host university with regard to accommodation, language courses, cultural activities, etc.
  • Recognition of academic achievements abroad in exceptional cases
  • In principle, payment of a mobility grant; the European destination countries are divided into three country groups with different funding rates according to the average cost of living.
  • Additional funding for ‘diverse’ living situations and ‘green’ travelling

Other information

    Mobility-Online

    • The Mobility-Online webseite is the central facility for managing all Erasmus-specific documents.
    • Once you have completed the documents in Mobility Online, you will receive an acceptance letter for the Erasmus mobility grant from the International Office. The selection by the department initially only means that you have been accepted for the Erasmus study place and not yet for the Erasmus mobility grant.
