Das Institut für Völkerrecht lädt zu einer Rhineland Lecture in International Law von Dr. Maria A. Gwynn (Universität Bonn) ein. Der Gastvortrag beschäftigt sich mit aktuellen Fragen der Energieerzeugung durch Wasserkraftwerke am Beispiel des ITAIPU-Staudamms. Alle Interessierten - insbesondere Studierende - sind herzlich eingeladen. Die Veranstaltung findet am 19. Oktober in der Bibliothek des Instituts für Völkerrecht (Ostturm, 4. Stock) statt. Kostenlose Sandwiches, Kaffee und weitere Getränke werden ab 12:45 Uhr angeboten. Der Vortrag beginnt um 13.00 Uhr und wird etwa vierzig Minuten dauern, wobei anschließend etwa zwanzig Minuten für Fragen und Diskussionen zur Verfügung stehen. The Institute for Public International Law is pleased to announce that Dr Maria A. Gwynn (University of Bonn) will deliver the next Rhineland Lecture in International Law titled "International Law and Transboundary Hydropower Projects: Lessons learned from the Binational Entity ITAIPU". The lecture will take place at the Institute's library (Ostturm, 4th floor) on 19 October 2023. The meeting will commence with free sandwiches, coffee and refreshments at 12.45. The speaker will commence at 13.00 and speak for about forty minutes, allowing about twenty minutes for questions and discussion.
